I was skeptical about what couples counselling could achieve, but after a few sessions we made incredible progress. It's such a relief to be on the same team again."

My approach
I was very fortunate in my 20's to be mentored by Scilla Elworthy, a Professor of Peace Studies who has been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize four times! What I learned was transformative and has shaped my approach to personal, professional and community relationships all my life since.

-
Conflict is natural in all human relationships and does not mean there is something wrong.
-
Conflict is a sign that an adjustment is needed
-
When we bring curiosity to the problem, we find the adjustment and harmony is restored.
Without this understanding, tensions can develop such that separation seems the only option. Many couples are surprised and delighted to discover how small changes in how they relate can transform their relatioship.

I continued to develop my skills in conflict resolution in my family and community settings, and added the method of restorative justice to my repetoire. I completed a sex and relationships training with the highly respected Juliet Grayson.
I am able to both to support couples both to become more emotionally and physically intimate and bring mediation skills to those seeking separation and divorce.
supportive. insightful. empowering. transformative.
Whatever we're going through
Conflict doesn’t have to mean the end. It’s a signal that something in your relationship needs attention and adjustment. Therapy offers a space to turn hostility into curiosity, to shift from blame to understanding and become allies in seeking the best possible relationship - together.

Using a lens of empathy and curiosity, we’ll explore your relationship dynamics, identify patterns, and develop practical strategies for change. Whether you’re seeking greater intimacy, better communication, or navigating a healthy separation, we’ll work toward your goals with care and intention.

With commitment and effort, it’s possible to build a relationship that feels supportive, connected, and aligned with your values.
